Apparently, its my birthday today. I opted to stay home to reflect. To embrace the silence and to perfectly exercise the so-called interpersonal communication. Also, its my lame attempt to avoid the unnecessary expenses. i mean i hangout with my friends most of the time and i want to keep my special day a solemn one. chos. haha. Im not a good host and believe it or not, I don't really adore the idea of being the center of attention.

When i was in grade school , every kid celebrates their birthday in the classroom. Either by bringing a shitload of McDonald's goodies or a home-cooked pasta for everyone. Honestly, I used to hate my birthday coz its always raining and its the start of the class. I envy other kids who'd celebrate their birthdays at the mall and in the beach.

I'd remember my mom telling me that she cant give me a toy for my birthday coz everything went to my tuition fee, books and my school uniform.Every year, I would always feel that im the unluckiest kid in the world. Life was simple back then. To cheer me up, my mom would bake a chocolate cake and put NIPS on the top. take note : NIPS not even M&M's. and my dad always print a big HAPPY BIRTHDAY KARL banner and put it on the wall. Wala pang tarpaulin noon . haha. Papa has been always my fairy. He'd always give me a toy or a doll without my mom knowing. I will never forget when i was 9, i received my first ever Sailormoon doll then a Chun-Li (of Street fighter)and Storm(of X-Men) action figures thereafter.

But today , im old and different. I'm really dreaming of having a Kermit Tesoro 2010 heel-less booties. I asked my dad last night if i could loan in the hospital where i work at but he strongly disagreed. haha. no fairies no more. lol. My mom also refused to use her card for this matter. So I guess its up to me!

When i woke up this morning, my mom greeted me and gave me my baby pictures over breakfast. I nearly cried but i controlled it with all my might. You see, we dont do drama at home.haha

Still, with all what's happening in my life , I must be really THANKFUL. and i AM.
