My good friend Yekky Balingit of greenrainbowdelight will be releasing his MIADORE lookbook this month and he invited some friends to make it a blast. Miadore is an accessory line created by Yekky himself . If you may ask, he only started from scratch.. doing DIYS of neckpieces and bib necklaces from random materials. Through his blog and chictopia , his works were eventually noticed by online friends and bloggers including the great designer Rajo Laurel and the rest as they say was history. If you happen to read Raajo's blog on stylebible about Miadore, you'll see how he was mesmerized by Yekky's talent. Rajo then included Miadore in his store, HOUSE OF LAUREL. Yekky really deserves the designer's praises , afterall his raw talent and designs undeniably speak class and panache. Just what Rajo likes his designs to be.

A lot out there can do diy's just for fun .. out of boredom... but Yekky plays his game differently. His target clients: the likes of Daphne Osena Paez who breathe class, style and power..

It was such a privilege to be part of this wonderful project and to be able ta work with such a creative team.

I was supposed to be one of the stylists for this shoot but Yekky wasn't able to find a make up artist so he asked me if i could do it for him. Fortunately, the make up peg was simple and clean so I gave in. Usually, being a stylist is more fun because you get to play with the clothes, the shoes, the fabric but Mike , Thysz , Ian and Yekky were there already to milk out all the creative juices they could possibly extract from their great minds. Good thing , Nicole's hair was kinky and true enough, it became an amazing accessory.

Yekky also promised to make an INKARLCERATING inspired neckpiece..i so cant wait!
