Before the ANC Interview , me and Gelo stayed @ Junkie Shop at CUBAO-x. It was a rainy afternoon and we found solace in this small and cozy colorama indulged shop. And since we might be putting stocks of ParadigmShift pieces there in the near future, I might as well visit the place. Rendell, a common friend was manning the store and he was kind enough to answer all our queries. Gelo would always scold me whenever i ask for the price coz i always forget checking the pricetags attached. Gelo bought rings while i bought an eco bag. Just so you know, im recently collecting dust bags/ eco bags. I dunno, but my body is getting tired from carrying leather bags. I think I have developed some sort of spine injury or something.
I love the store. Indie stores usually have a distinct character and personality. I might not be a fan of colors but the store is relaxing. The quirky and artsy vibe is definitely palpable as you wander around. I also love the clothes sold here. Gelo went gaga over the bottle cap rings and I promised him that i'd buy him one once i have the money.
Gelo's HS classmate , Glenn visited the place as well and he recorded a video of us. My eyebrows might be thick and hard , but i have a girl's voice that can launch a thousand ships. chos! jk! haha
omg.. i love the umulan rouge!!! hahahaha.. :P
ReplyDeleteAnimated Confessions
re: outfit in the first photos- in the mid 80s, i was obsessive about all white (off-white, more specifically) ensembles. i still enjoy monochrome dressing, using textures and proportion to create visual interest on a simple palette.
ReplyDeletecool wedge shoes (boots?) also.
it's really a great look.
