hour of hourani
i still have a penchant for leather. especially when its done by the great transformer Rad Hourani who specializes in geometric cuts , multifunctional pieces and honest to goodness clean lines. I love that the lookbook is as straightforward as a yes and no..black and white.. The back details are as interesting as the front. NO matter how hard i'd look at the photos, i still cannot discern the pieces separately. Its so difficult to peel off every garment. Its like you can wear the pieces either upside down or in reverse. To dissect and collapse the whole look made me sick but i love this concept nevertheless. I also like to believe that the designer referred to KLAUS NOMI as an inspiration.
I love it!!

this amazes me. very innovative. this is future of dressing: versatile, sculptural pieces that can be worn in a variety of ways, defying and challenging categorization (vest? skirt? jacket? yes! all of the above.)
ReplyDeleteIt is kind of sickeningly good - I don't quite get it either, but I want it all.
