Carol Christian Poell, an Austrian designer who holes up in a studio in
Milan's Naviglio district where he quietly designs an ultra-niche, cult
label that he doesn't always produce and only shows to the public when
he feels like it.

yum.. reminds me of vanilla icing

Created using calf and kangaroo to produce the sneaker then dying white and dipping in latex, the sole is then achieved by treating with a “Drip-Rubber” application. Poell is known for using rather unconventional materials in past collections such as human hair, bodyplast, metal chain-stitch and blood-dyed leather. - slamxhype.com

Hi Impact shoes are seen everywhere... Everytime you check sites like shoelust or atypical-shoes, you will be caught wondrin' how on earth those pairs were crafted, supplied... The most genius of the geniuses would claim originality and creativity and it's just a matter of how the entertainment factor entices the enthusiasts. Carol Poell is unbelievable. The designs are obviously a cross between functional , humor and art. When synthesized , they create an astonishing product... an astonishing response will follow as well.

  2. i've been a big fan of CCP sine 2008. his pieces are works of art. too bad it's ridiculously expensive. but i think it's worth it since his stuff are individually hand-made by some of the best artisans! so expect top-notch quality that will last a lifetime!
