Clothes have the ability to emit energy and bestow power. A slit in the skirt can transform a lanky woman into a vamp. Strong shoulders may signify control and command . Rad's creations are powerful hybrid of sex, future and intellect. His clothes are powerful and he choose his army well. His models are usually stony and chiseled. They seem lifeless yet they are giving life to Rad's pieces on the runway. Each stride redefines the undulation , movement and strictness of his jacket. He has the right to demand a good price for his jacket since most of them can reach longer mileage than the rest.

I have quite a number of Rad Hourani blog posts since 2009. Below are my favorite photos. I was surprised to see the photos of actual patterns and sketches of his garments. Discerning it would be a lot of work. It is a dead give away that he cultivates his design process from structures and buildings. A thing that made me relate to him more since I have been fascinated by towering buildings as a kid . I love the energy of the city.

He came at the right timing when he presented his first show. It was the time when genderless fashion is at peak. But this year he showcased his Fall Winter Haute Couture collection with his signature slick and bold geometric collection worn by male and female models, thus, initiating a new paradigm on haute couture.
