Lanphear-ing

I've observed an immense and gradual shift to low heeled + pointy shoes lately . My god friend Kookie Buhain who is a self-confessed Platform addict (she named her blog DEATH BY PLATFORMS btw) was among the many who developed an ardent love for sexy low-heeled ones over the chunky hunky heels. It was impossible for me to get one, of course. Primarily, i felt weird and alienated as i have my short stumpy legs to always burst the bubble . Oh god when will body issues get away? haha . Thankfully, an angel of mine found a pair for me . An old Rupert Sanderson wedge booties. It was perfect and it's very me me me sans the platforms , no? Well, I'm still skeptical though. There are pants that must be paired carefully with it. Walking was a challenge. I was used to the PLAY (for easy walking )that platforms have... I felt older in these shoes too.. In the next few weeks, I'd reckon that it'll be one of my favorite!
