Nadir Tejani / Rectangular
Nadir Tejani has a different approach in creating his pieces as he is known for designing a garment instead of style. Each product is made of one pattern only- a rectangle. Its shape is founded and built on a repetition of the same rectangle, cut in different ways and positioned according to the human anatomy producing monastic robes with strict geometric sensibilities and outerwears that echoe a modern Kimono aesthetic. I really love the boxy aprons and long sleeves. I couldn't help but be reminded by Damir Doma's work but of course each designer has a unique DNA. Dynamic layering , big silhouette and a compelling collection, there is really something to look forward in the future of menswear.
