There was a time when I was hooked with DIY's along with hundreds of kids. It was like a revolution that enabled everyone to do a version of , say, a ridiculous hundred dollar shirt from Balmain. It was a fun phase and it made wardrobe blogging interesting and fresh. For a time, I was only buying chains, tools, studs and pins. My shirts , though ratty , were highly regarded by friends and readers. DIY's are fun! But I'm more into the Love Aesthetics and Pedro Korshi type of DIY now. clean, collected and minimal. I've heard that chains will be a favorite for the next season. Hmm..
