Chalayan SS13 // On a clear day

Chalayan's MOST commercial and contemporary collection to date. From the colored  PVC-paneled hats, perforated sportif tanks, varsity shirts turned into  red carpet dresses .. yes! It's Chalayan's conception of modern clothes that can be worn during the day. It's quite true that not all Ready to Wear are EASY TO WEAR.. but this collection is the answer, making the ends of easy and beautfiul clothes meet .

I love it when colossally cerebral designers cook a mundane dish. Imagine they're cooking a fried chicken but the breading used was conrnstarch mixed with talc or ... powdered chalk. lol. I mean  there's this "daily-friendly" vibe and yet their overpowering discipline emanates no matter how they undermine it. I reckon those hi end minimal-themed labels will do their version of these.
