Gloria Coelho 2013 /minimal blocking

Gloria Coelho  is a Brazilian fashion designer and  the mother of Pedro Lourenco. She's been creating intriguing and wearable-conceptual clothes for more than a decade. It's quite surprising to learn that for someone who's in the industry for long , she is  continuously evolving her craft by enjoying the core of her collection every season.  A living exemplar of not taking fashion too seriously while keeping up with times, trends and demands. Inspirations were harvested from Pokemon series, Xmen characters to the grandeur of post-atomic minimal interiors and architecture.

amazing how she used acrylic in her shoes. She veered away from Simone Rocha, Dries Van Noten , et al with the lovely impaled heel on acrylic. HMM.. house of Balenciaga might want to consider Gloria.=)
