COLLABORATIONS// MALENE BACH X GOLD DOT

The beginning of the year 2013 was a kick off for the Gold Dot team. After developing the shoes for so many months, i finally saw  the product, the spawn of the Malene Oddershede Bach x Gold Dot collab for London Fashion Week. Although , the shoes were the only ones who experienced the crazy London fashion week, we were there in spirit.   This project was one of the most challenging . It was our first time to make printed leather and indeed it rattled us big time. Beating the deadline and coordinating suppliers, updating Malene everyday via email , looking for materials all at the same time just to make the shoes come to life. The shoe business isn't easy but once you see the product, it justifies the hard work blah blah and it's true. i swear the shoes fitted me perfectly. My fave was the red one. 

Then we saw the lookbook presentation of MALENE BACH with the printed shoes matching perfectly with the printed pieces. The connection of Malene's design and strong ethos to me was there! I admire her story of superlative prints and the panache minimal-redux pieces... Total look achieved!
