Fashion androgyny used to have that dark emblem to it. The profile often shadowy, amplified by drapes and hard-edgedness akin to Grace Jones yet now when I read androgyny and see it on collection, there is an apparent shift into gentleness. A very intriguing gynic aesthetic that could often be mistaken to cross-dressing. I love what Alessandro Michelle and Demna Gvasalia is doing right now. It's a revolution trickling down and soon enough, it will be palpated and seen more. So what's next on Androgyny? I would love to see In-Your-Face-Avant-Garde , the kind which the new Helmut Lang had just presented in NY Fashion Week. The way Hood By Air create and toy their clothes but with more deftness like Celine. Well , ther's JW Anderson too but we need more. I want more.
